Arsenal legend Ian Wright believes Harry Kane’s slow start to the season could be down to the birth of his second child.
Kane recently became a dad again and Wright thinks the sleepless nights could be contributing to the Tottenhan striker’s struggles at the start of the campaign.
England hitman Kane, 25, won the golden boot at the World Cup in the summer but has found the net just twice in six outings so far this term.
In his column in The Sun, Wright wrote: “When you watch him, he does not look as sharp as we have seen him before.
“But people don’t take into consideration the fact he has just had a new baby. How many other players coming back from the World Cup have recently had a new addition to the family?
“We don’t know what his sleeping patterns are like at the moment so maybe that might have something to do with his form.”
Kane is in the squad for Tottenham’s trip to Inter Milan in the Champions League this evening.
