Gareth Bale gives update on his Real Madrid future amid Bayern talks

Real Madrid forward Gareth Bale has given an update on his future after refusing to rule out a move to Bayern Munich in the summer.

The Welshman has struggled in recent seasons and it is looking more and more likely that the player could leave the Bernabeu.

The player has been jeered by fans on several occasions over the past few years and that has seen his relationship with the club slowly fade.

Bale has been linked with a move back to Tottenham while Chelsea and Manchester United have also been touted as destinations.

Now, the latest reports have suggested that the player could move to Bayern Munich in the summer.
That could be a huge move for the player exploring another top European league.

While it has seemed in the past that he would not be willing to leave Real Madrid, his tone has slightly changed.

The Welshman has now refused to rule out a move.

While he admits that he enjoys playing for Real Madrid, it’s far from certain he will remain there for the foreseeable future.

‘You can never rule out anything in football,’ Bale told the German newspaper Bild, as cited by Daily Mail.

‘Currently, I play football at Real Madrid and I enjoy that.

‘Bayern have a fantastic squad and already in the past, they have always been one of the most successful clubs in Europe.

‘It’s an honour for everyone to be linked with this club. But as of now, I am a Real Madrid player.’

Gareth Bale when he’s linked with Man United: “I can’t see myself at Manchester United.”
