*NPFL MD8 Preview: Sunshine Stars vs. Kano Pillars*
Sunshine Stars will attempt to get their 2017/18 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) campaign back on track on Sunday when they play host to third place Pillars at the Ondo State Sports Complex, Akure in a match day eight tie.

In the previous match day capitulation at Plateau United Sunshine Stars were forced to make do with an entire team of 11 old players as the league body rejected the registration of the team’s new players due to litigation on the Club’s alleged indebtedness to former personnel.

However, following renewed efforts by the team’s management coach Duke Udi will still not enjoy the compliment of a squad to choose from, though he will be able to call on seven of his new players for the visit of the former champions.
