From Stamford to screen

From the highs of title success to the despair of relegation, Stamford Bridge has played host to plenty of drama during our 113-year history.

Stars from Hollywood, Bollywood and beyond have all regularly taken in the action too, and in 2018, our world-famous home is set to feature in a new Russian movie chronicling the fall and rise of an international footballer.

Coach is set for release in Russia on 19 April ahead of this year’s World Cup and we caught up with its director, lead actor and producer, Danila Kozlovsky, to find out more about the project.

Kozlovsky, Russia’s leading actor, is a big Chelsea fan and drew inspiration from Antonio Conte in researching the role. Since beginning the Coach project, he has been a regular visitor to Stamford Bridge, meeting several of the players, and of course, the manager!
