Lagos base sport radio station Brila FM wasn’t spared by the heavy floods which submerged virtually all parts of Lagos Island yesterday. The flood was due to persistent downpour which began Friday night and lasted up to late Saturday morning. Lekki, host community of the radio station worst hit by the flood which also affected Victoria Island, Ikoyi, Ajah and Ikorodu road axis and environs on the mainland.
The management of the station has however issued apologies to it listeners and it reads below;
“Sincere apologies everyone. Our Lagos station was affected by the Lekki axis flood on Saturday & we will be back on air latest Monday morning. Please bear with us and thanks for the concern shown via calls, messages etc to the station and its members of staff. -Mgt”.
Founded by Larry Izamoje in 2002, Brila fm also operates in Abuja, Kaduna and Onitsha.
